The place where one’s heart feels
Peace and sakeen.
Lovers are drawn in your direction;
Y
ou reveal secrets through
Your affection.
O Baitun Noor! You are so divine!
Only a few years ago did we learn that you are a shrine!
Where Duas are made and
Glad tidings are bade;
And the seeker prostrates
Under your shade.
Veils are lifted and many can see,
The countenance of our
Holy Nabi (saws)
And the blessed members of his family,
Like Hazrat Ali, and Shah Jilani.
And Ghausul Azam, and Hazrat Hassan,
And on Thursday nights
Lovers recite Khatimul Quran
Allah Karam! Do the miracles go on!
From the time of the dusk,
Till the break of the dawn.
Some site and repent,
Some sigh and lament;
But most stay in a position
Where their back is bent.
Yaa Khanqah of Sufis how does it feel
To have Ism Allah finally revealed?
A secret for so long entrusted to you;
From our Murshid with
The permission of Hoo!
The qalb is in sujood no matter
What mankind does,
Once he comes near you,
He can feel the truth
.And that’s why when he’s with you,
He feels the love.
Allah T’ala said in his script so Divine,
About how, one He would show us the Sign It matters not if he is a Muslim, Christian, or Jew,
And no one can deny
His actions supreme,
It was foretold in history,
So we know it’s not a dream.
Khanqah of Sufis you’ve
Shown me my Sheikh’
No other construction has
Formed his blessed face
Equal to the Ka’ba because
We say Labayk
No shrine is greater or
Can ever take your place.
Not enough can be said,
No matter how much is read
You will always be known
Throughout history,
How you kept your secret
Will remain a mystery.
Grateful I am to you, my light my key’
Who keeps me close to my Murshid.
Shukran for all that you have ever done;
For keeping many in remembrance
Of the True One.
Allah t’ala, so full of might,
Who sent you to us,
O House of Light!
